Jordan R. Smith is a warm and compassionate Registered Psychologist with extensive experience delivering evidence-based psychological interventions and clinical diagnostic assessments. Jordan has completed multiple degrees, including a Bachelor of Psychological Science and a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) with merit at the Australian College of Applied Professions (ACAP). To further supplement his understanding of human cognition and behaviour, Jordan completed studies on the Philosophy of Consciousness at the University of Newcastle (UON)

Jordan is highly skilled in treating a variety of presentations, including anxiety, stress and burnout, depression and mood disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, grief and loss, self-esteem and self-development and attachment-related concerns. His expertise extends across the lifespan, working with early childhood, children, adolescents, young adults, adults and older adult populations.

Jordan utilises a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Polyvagal Theory Informed Psychotherapy, Schema Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). Jordan provides an attachment-focused approach to therapy, meeting the core emotional needs of each unique individual. He cultivates a strong therapeutic alliance to facilitate deeper, more impactful interventions informed by contemporary psychological science.

Jordan is proficient in conducting clinical diagnostic assessments including evaluations for Cognitive and Adaptive Functioning, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Specific Learning Disorder (SLD). His breadth of clinical knowledge enables him to offer nuanced insights and tailored interventions for a broad scope of psychological and developmental concerns.
